Having a Ball in Harrisburg
Governor Ed Rendell is a man of big appetites, and his Inaugural Ball proved it. Held at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, the January black-tie shindig attracted more than 9,800 hungry revelers. Among other delicacies, party goers dined on shrimp, beef, and hoagies.
Philadelphians are born knowing that it's the roll that make the sandwich, and now so does everyone else who attended the Inaugural Ball. Amoroso's donated some 1,200 rolls to the cause, ensuring that Rendell supporters enjoyed the same fresh taste sensation that launched a million — and counting — Philadelphia cheese steaks and hoagies.
